One more blog report (June)

Same 28 private blogs, same 8 commercial ones, 4 dead ones. Did not move, delete, add, or even tinker much with any of them. As usual I spent the first half of the month using them as much as possible, then eased off a little and did nothing.

In general, it came out well. For the third month in a row most of them were up; 22 out of 28 private ones were up including ten out of the top ten. One reason they're up is that january and february are lousy months (this is my theory) and the three-month averaging system means that adding may is dropping february, and once again that's a good deal. May was good. People are running around, buying stuff, reading blogs. I don't know how else to explain it.

Most of my blog goals, unachieved. I have some new ones I want to make. I want to make one for bogging, and possibly one for the relation of nerve-gas pesticide to parkinson's disease. what's happening with nerve-gas pesticide is that the lawyers are circling, and the companies are putting all their resources into repression of the clear truth, which is that nerve gas hurts people. it's kind of like what we went through with cigarettes. we had a cultural love-affair with them, but they were deadly, and it took a lot of lawsuit action before people actually figured it out.

Ah but I digress. I want to get the blogs out there; I want people to read. Some, I'm not actively supporting much these days. Might as well be pushing the ones I actively have plenty to say on. And all of them can be linked to my writing, hoping of course that my writing is not so bad (see above) that I can't stay on point after a certain time of the evening. I find myself reading a lot these days, and turning to mush around dinner time (now), and barely able, sometimes, to keep up my blog responsibilities.

Ideally I would be sharp, make the blogs what I want, use them all month, have lots of pop art on them, and still have time for writing, as well as relentless read-marketing. not sure how all this is going to work.
