No nothing special; some were up, some were down. Quelle horreurs because it took me until Apr. 9 or 10, or both, to do the blogs and another day to put this here. That's because 1) I've been glued to the news watching the stock report and bond traders' agony; 2) I'm thoroughly confused and adrift that the country I loved has gone fascist, and that, if it is truly against Canada and the free world, I am not really with it anymore; and, 3) family issues which are intense and continuing. On that front I'll say that we seem to be active parents of a 7-year-old, even though I am turning 71 and my wife is pushing it. She's doing all the work, but the noise is incredible.

What's up with the blogs? Some seemed to swoon, as if in March everyone went to Disney World. Others are making steady progress. I'm starting a couple new ones. Now if I can just put more pop on them, make them overall better linked and more upbeat. Some are downright backwater. Some are dead altogether.

Meanwhile life as we know it is being redefined. We are on Russia's side. Billionaires buy elections. Television decides what's real.

And, when you're talking to someone, and you mention some anomaly, like the 1929 Great Depression, they just look it up instantly and know what you're talking about. Not that they were listening in school, or that they covered such things. It's just that, say someone got murdered a couple years ago, they are well aware that the full story is just a couple of clicks away, and they can't resist. Thus my sites could very well become repositories of such information. if i were to choose to make them go that way. Life could be very interesting.
