Aug. 2 blog report
Rolling averages were in general up, because as the July 1 report will show, June was a stunning month. In terms of pure numbers of visitors, July I think came down a little froo June, but the averages are still much higher than they used to be which makes RA (MAY/JUNE/JULY) go up as that's so much better than APR/MAY/JUNE.
Some of them are packing them in and making me feel guilty that they are so poorly developed in terms of template ads leading to my books, use of pop art, etc. I could be doing much better. And in fact, in these days of general depression regarding bombardment of social media (Twitter, FB, Insta, Amazon), I would do well to develop the blogs (which are Google - as bad, worse than others?) which I am preferring only in that I don't remember Google's president up there on the stand congratulating the orange destroyer.
A couple of them are quite remarkable. yeah write (RA 4934) has shot up to 7th all-time in the personal blogs; in that I mostly just complain about writing. Do writers want to read that? Or are they just attracted to the title of the blog, which appears in a google search, and which looks interesting so they cruise by temporarily. I could get even these cruisers if I set it up right. Let's assume it takes 100 visits to have one click on an ad, 100 clicks on the ad to have one sale, etc. Numbers are like that and that's depressing but since it's true might as well go out and get 100 as soon as possible, and besides, it's much better than taking 1% of zero. Another one is rearview mirror which is about Texas; now I love Texas and even have a novel partly written about it (which I often forget about) - so I don't post every week or even every month, and I've done nothing with the template. But it has an RA of 2565 - not bad! RA's are now routinely over a thousand, often over 500, only rarely below a hundred.
And yet with the time press I have trouble even posting on twelve a month. I have goals - I revisit them every time I do this - but I get to very few of them. It's not like I just play online boggle all the time. It's more that I do a whole bunch of other stuff for the fam that literally eats up my time. I've stopped dashing a little so there may be more time than there used to be. But still not enough!
Let this represent my goals: UPDATE tlevspress, with all its wrong prices and no price warning (prices are subject to change), get on blatant self-promotion more often, just to make noise, update the two above as stated, and get some resist pop art on each template. That make sense?
